Amerijet International Airlines B757 Fleet Expansion

Amerijet International Airlines has announced the addition of six Boeing B757 freighters to its fleet. The addition is part of the company's extensive expansion and modernisation strategy, which began in 2020. Amerijet customers will benefit from the B757-200(PCF) freighters' versatility, range, and payload capacity, which are appropriate for destinations in the Caribbean, Mexico, Central America, and Europe. The purchase of these aircraft will raise Amerijet's freighter fleet to 20 aircraft, including six B767-200F and eight B767-300F variants.

"I'm quite proud of our team members who worked relentlessly to complete the B757 project. As we approach 50 years of continuous operation from our home base in Miami, Florida, these aircraft will be a fantastic addition to our fleet, providing us with a foundation for ongoing expansion "Amerijet's Chief Executive Officer, Tim Strauss, stated.

The Rolls-Royce RB211 engines that power Amerijet's B757-200PCFs are capable of fuel-efficient operation with maximum payloads in the hot and humid weather that are common across Amerijet's operating territory. The company has announced plans to continue hiring flight crews, maintenance, and technical professionals as part of the growth.
